Its crazy how very few people can act and do as they please with our environment without taking into consideration how many lives they put at risk. They have no respect for anything and care less about how their actions may affect millions of families and their livelihoods. These people care about one thing and one thing only: PROFIT
Heres an article i found while reading the news which made my jaw drop. (Yes i read the news, i am a potential intellectual  )

| i dont believe that. if they knew that much methane was being released they would have stopped it by now. but they haven't. there also making stupid predictions because of methane killing a lot of animals and life millions of year ago. |

| the thing is, that if that much methane is escaping the ocean's depth, there is no possible way to stop it. how would they stop it? and those predictions are not stupid being that those methane explotions have already caused worldwide extinctions more than once in history. just because it happened millions of years ago does not mean it wont happen again. if we thought everything that happened in the past was just stupid because it's history,then where would we be now? |

well they're saying that the gulf would be ground zero. also, the extinctions that happened before were because of the excessive methane and other gasses which poisoned the atmosphere after the explosion.
hopefully youre right and its all just speculation  |

this is pretty scary, ground zero is the most dangerous area imo because the ppl that live in that area are exposed to all of these chemical gasses.
We are fucking up our home, just think about it....the oil spill, the global warming, the possible to happen nuclear-war, contamination, you name it.
